I began training with kettlebells in the spring of 2004 and was thrust into a teaching roll without really knowing much. Early in my training career I made the common mistakes of focusing on intensity and making people tired but quickly realized this is wrong and there was way more to this type of training that I needed to explore. In the sport of wrestling, to be the best you have to train with the best. I applied this philosophy to kettlebells and immersed myself into finding out who the top instructor were and how they taught. I’ve studied and trained with the best kb sport athletes and kb fitness practitioners in the US. Over 13 years I have developed a training style that I practice myself and teach to clients everyday. I know how each exercise feels because I do them myself. There is no physical busy work at SOS- only exercises that have been tried and tested over time to give myself and others the best use of training time.
